We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how the site is used.
Last updated: 7 October 2026We use cookies to keep you logged in, and Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. We do not run advertising, and we do not follow you around the web.
A cookie is a small piece of text that a website stores on your browser so it can recognise you on your next visit. Think of it as a name tag your browser wears so we know it is you.
Ekaabo uses essential cookies that the platform cannot function without, and one analytics cookie from Google Analytics.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication token | Keeps you logged in as you navigate between pages. | Up to 7 days. You are signed out automatically after 60 minutes of inactivity. |
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Counts visits and shows which pages are used, so we can improve Ekaabo. It holds a random identifier, not your name or contact details. | Up to 2 years |
When you choose to sign in with Google, Google's authentication service may set its own cookies. Those are governed by Google's own policies. We have no control over them and receive only your name and email at the moment of sign-in. Flutterwave, our payment processor, may also set cookies during the payment flow.
Yes — every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies in Privacy or Security settings. However, if you block all cookies, Ekaabo will not work correctly as authentication requires cookies to function. Blocking third-party cookies only will not affect Ekaabo since our essential cookies are first-party.
If we ever start using additional cookies, we will update this policy and notify you before those cookies are placed.
