Ekaabo is a guest management platform for weddings, churches, corporate events, concerts, and every kind of gathering. We are based at 13 Ladipo Avenue, Lonlo Bus Stop, Iju-Ishaga, Lagos, Nigeria.
This policy applies to everyone who interacts with Ekaabo:
When you create an account: Your name, email address, and password. If you sign up through Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We never see your Google password.
When you use the platform: Events you create, guests you add, check-in records, session attendance, table assignments, and notes stored against guest profiles.
When guests are added: Names, phone numbers, email addresses, meal preferences, table numbers, RSVP status, and check-in timestamps.
Walk-in guests: Name, phone number, and check-in timestamp added by ushers at the door.
Payment information: Processed by Flutterwave. We do not store card details — only confirmation that a payment was made, the amount, and the currency.
Technical information: IP address and browser type at login, used for security only.
To run the service, keep your account secure, process payments, and comply with the law. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data.
We work with: Supabase (database), Flutterwave (payments), Resend (email), Upstash (sessions), Sentry (error monitoring), and Google (OAuth login). None may use your data for their own purposes.
Account data: for the lifetime of your account, anonymised within 30 days of closure. Payment records: seven years as required by law. Security logs: 90 days.
You can access, correct, delete, and export your data at any time from your account settings or by writing to privacy@ekaabohq.com. We respond within 5 business days. You can also report concerns to NITDA at nitda.gov.ng.
All passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All data in transit is encrypted with TLS. We notify you by email on every new login. If we discover a breach, we notify you and the relevant authority within 72 hours.
We use only essential cookies to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
